YWCA St. John’s is dedicated to empowering women, girls, and gender-diverse individuals by promoting economic security, leadership development, and support for newcomers, youth, and 2SLGBTQI+ communities. To support newcomers, YWCA offers programs such as language training, employment assistance, and community integration activities. Additionally, the Connextions Program which opens intermittently, provides a space for newcomers to establish meaningful connections and develop supportive networks in their new community.
