Newfoundland and Labrador offer publicly funded healthcare through the Medical Care Plan (MCP), ensuring all residents have access to essential medical services. As part of Canada's universal healthcare system, MCP covers visits to doctors, hospital care, diagnostic tests, and other medically necessary services. However, there are limitations on what is covered, and some services, such as dental care, prescription medications, and vision care, may require additional private insurance.
