Community Centers
The Community Centre Alliance Newfoundland and Labrador Inc. (CCA) is a unique partnership between five Community Centres in St. John’s:
- Buckmaster’s Circle Community Centre: Provides a variety of social, educational, recreational, health and employment programs and services.
- Froude Avenue Community Centre: Delivers shared programs, services and resources focused on employment.
- McSheffrey Resource Centre: Provides access and equal opportunity for community members to participate in social, health, recreational, educational and employment programs and services.
- Rabbittown Community Centre: Provides opportunities and support in the process of individual and community capacity building to strengthen the community as a whole
- Virginia Park Community Centre: Provides Social, Educational, Recreational and Career Development programs and services for the residents of Virginia Park.
- 211 is the information and referral service that connects you to Classes for adults learning English, including LINC (Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada) programs. More Information visit 211 website
