Newfoundland and Labrador is the easternmost province of Canada, made up of two distinct parts:
- Newfoundland, the island portion where most of the population lives
- Labrador, a mainland region known for its vast natural landscapes and Indigenous heritage
The province is renowned for its rugged coastlines, fjords, icebergs, and rich maritime history.

🏙 Cities in the Province
- Corner Brook – The largest city on the west coast of Newfoundland. It’s known for its beautiful landscapes, nearby ski resort, and access to outdoor adventure year-round. It is also home to Grenfell Campus (Memorial University).
- Mount Pearl – The second largest city, located just southwest of St. John’s. Mount Pearl is a residential and business-friendly city with well-planned neighbourhoods, recreational facilities, and family-oriented services.
- St. John’s – The capital and largest city, located on the eastern tip of Newfoundland. Known for its colourful row houses, arts scene, and vibrant mix of tradition and innovation.
