Work Permit
A work permit in Canada is a document that allows a foreign national to work legally in the country for a specific job and period of time. It shows employers that the worker has permission from the government to be employed. Depending on the type of work permit, it may allow the person to work for a specific employer or in a specific location, or it might be open, allowing them to work for any employer in Canada.
