YWCA St. John’s is dedicated to empowering women, girls, and gender-diverse individuals by promoting economic security, leadership development, and support for newcomers, youth, and 2SLGBTQI+ communities. Since 2018, YWCA has launched several initiatives to enhance the engagement and participation of newcomers in the community and province. The organization advocates for social justice, creates opportunities for growth, and addresses real-life challenges through education and public engagement.
